From plywood to paper everything is thought of with us!
And this is what we would like to talk more about.
All our toys are made in our family manufactory, which is located in Tarnow (near Krakow) and is a typical Polish town where time passes a little slower than in large metropolises 🙂
We take an extremely responsible approach to our work, so we make sure that every toy component is safe for the child and his space.

Certification
The main raw material that makes up our toys is melamine plywood of the highest quality.
The types of plywood on the market are huge, so it took us a very long time to find the one that would meet all our criteria and the safety criteria of the EU Directive.
What guided our selection?
First of all, the quality and method of production. The material we use is produced in Poland with respect for the forest environment, animals, plants and people. It has a low carbon footprint and is ethically produced.
It was very important to us that this be confirmed by relevant tests, and so the raw material is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).These are the largest international certification programs in the timber industry.
The FSC is the most credible forest resource certification system in existence in the world today, and is the only one endorsed by major environmental organizations and numerous indigenous communities.
PEFC’s “Chain of Custody of Forest-based Products” allows verification of the origin of wood at each stage of its processing and flow
EU Directives and CE(Conformité Européenne).
The material we use has extremely low formaldehyde emissions and meets the standards of the EU Directive. It was tested in a laboratory, the tests showed emissions at a level not exceeding the E1 standard.
It also meets other harmonized standards such as:
EN 71-1: Mechanical and physical properties
EN 71-2: Flammability
EN 71-3: Specification for the migration of certain chemical elements
The EN71 standards are also met by the varnishes, paints and oils we use to protect toys.
Water-based varnishes are 100% safe for children, we use varnishes of European origin, the largest reputable companies that have the appropriate tests and certificates.
The oils, which are a blend of natural oils and waxes, are approved for food contact thus are also 100% safe for children.
CE markings placed on the product are a declaration that the marked product complies with the requirements of the directives of the so-called “CE” directives. “New Approach” of the European Union (EU) and was subjected to a detailed conformity assessment study.

OEKO- TEX ®
All the textiles we use are certified by OEKO-TEX ® standard 100, which is one of the world’s best-known certificates for textiles tested for harmful substances.
Means high product safety and customer confidence.
Laces, furniture upholstery or linen pouches are just details, but we even took care of them!

Kraft paper
We use recycled kraft paper for packaging, which is recycled and has a low carbon footprint. All printing is done by hand using screen printing
